The Beginning

His journey began at a young age, posting YouTube videos about magic tricks when he was only 9 years old. Even then, Daniel expressed his passion for YouTube, unknowingly setting the stage for his future success.

Snapchat Breakthrough

Daniel's first major breakthrough came with Snapchat shows, where he was earning six figures a month at age 15. However, when Snapchat's landscape changed, he had to pivot quickly. Drawing on his experience in short-form content, Daniel transitioned to YouTube Shorts, where he found renewed success.

The Birth of Crayo

As his YouTube Shorts channels began generating five figures monthly, Daniel recognized an opportunity to solve a common problem for content creators - the time-consuming process of editing short videos. This led to the creation of Crayo, an AI-powered software company co-founded with his partner Musa, and other friends.

Crayo launched in late 2023 and quickly gained traction. Within six months, the company was generating $500,000 to $600,000 per month in revenue. The software helps creators easily make short-form videos with features like automated subtitles, animations, and music.

Diversifying Revenue Streams

Alongside Crayo, Daniel has developed other revenue streams. He released a course teaching others how to succeed with YouTube Shorts, leveraging his own experiences and success. He also manages a newsletter called Viral Engine with over 800,000 subscribers, which he uses to promote his software and spawn new business ideas.

Innovative Marketing Strategies

Daniel's success isn't just about creating great products; it's also about his innovative approach to marketing. He leverages his personal brand and social media expertise to drive growth. One unique strategy is his use of video newsletters, providing value to subscribers in a more engaging format than traditional text emails. "Instead of sending a boring 30 paragraph letter, I just talk to the camera," Daniel explains. This approach has helped him build a highly engaged audience that eagerly awaits his content and product updates.

Balancing Business and Youth

Despite his incredible success at such a young age, Daniel maintains a grounded perspective. He doesn't believe he's missing out on his youth. "I'm having the best time of my life," he asserts. Daniel credits his ability to balance his business pursuits with maintaining close friendships from childhood.
